I saved some photos from October as I thought the colour might be pleasant to see in dull, drear November.
A cottage not far from a ski hill and close to the walking trail. You could actually ski straight from the house to the cross-country ski trails.
Hoping for the best for our neighbours in the US.

Your photos are really a pleasure to see, the autumn colors are wonderful. The beginning of November is still good, by the warm September month trees have delayed losing their leaves fall. But this will change soon.....
