I received a pretty pink kalanchoe as a gift this week. It will bloom for many weeks.
Next fall, I will give it a rest period of six weeks when it won't get water or food. I will also restrict the light to 10 hours a day. Hopefully it will be in bloom again next winter.
Pretty little flowers - and sold at very reasonable prices in supermarkets over here. It grows very well from leaf cuttings too.
