"Jeffrey Parmesan is a puzzler and a puzzle. Who is he? His hair is curly and red with one patch of white on the side. His green eyes each have a short brown stripe across the iris. His nose has a decided jog to the left. It is hard to determine if he is attractive or ugly because when he smiles, a big broad grin, his whole face lights up engagingly, but when he frowns dark ridges furrow his face like an ogre's.
In the puzzle room of his house, which is painted lime green and orange, he has an assortment of puzzles: metal brain-teaser puzzles, Rubik cubes, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles and logic problems. Every day, he works his brain solving the questions posed by the puzzles. It is satisfying to solve them. His brilliant mind can unravel the most difficult brain tangles.
But still at times, he realizes there is a puzzle he hasn't solved. "Where am I from, and where am I going?""
As we get close to a frost and the days are getting shorter and duller, I felt like making some colourful bouquets to brighten up the kitchen.
I really like this little pitcher that a friend painted years ago.
Some spring-like colours for a fall day.
