Very cold here this morning ,about -25c (-15F) but we are cozy in our well-insulated house. Very short outings for the dogs, just long enough to get the job done. Pepper is fine in the cold. As long as I keep stoking his tummy with hay, he stays toasty. Not all horses can handle the cold, but Quarter horses and grade Quarter horses like Pepper are very hardy. The only time he prefers to be in rather than out is in the summer if the flies are bothering him.

I thought "tanager" when I saw the last one. These are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe first two are lovely, but I really like the 'tanager', he's a beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful to look at. I appreciate any colour at this time of year (it is so dark and cold out) and the colours in these are marvelous.
